Kids love this! Begin by preparing your CONTAINER. Attach a strip of tape (masking works best and make sure you tab the top so students can easily remove it) to the outside - one strip for each child who will be working on the activity. Write down your challenge and secure it with a rubber band to the container. Fill the container with the material the kids will be using. For example, if the challenge is a tower, perhaps the kids will be building with popsicle sticks (or q-tips, toothpicks, spaghetti, straws, pompoms, plastic spoons, etc.) There are may options for this activity. Kids get better and better at this task the more they practice at it. They become extremely good at problem solving, which is why it is important to routinely change the challenges.
